WELCOME TO LIVING & GROHING
Live. Grow. Glow.
Who doesn't want to glow for all the world to see? Living & Grohing started when I, Laura Groh, decided to follow my two biggest passions: skin care and babies (yes, really). Since then, I’ve been helping wonderful people feel like their most beautiful selves with facials and skin treatments, and also helping families connect and raise loving, caring human beings through Infant Massage.
SAFE SKIN CARE
The products used in L&G services are completely paraben-free. They are strong enough for professional-grade, beautiful results, yet gentle enough for sensitive skin types.
The oils provided for Infant Massage classes are always organic, food-grade, cold-pressed vegetable oils. Guaranteed to be safe for the little ones.

"Infant massage is a tradition within many ancient cultures that has been re-discovered and adapted for parents and babies around the world. Research conducted through the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine confirms the importance of a secure environment and nurturing touch in the healthy growth, development and maturation of children. According to Vimala McClure, author of Infant Massage, A Handbook for Loving Parents, “Infant massage is an ancient art that connects you deeply with the person who is your baby, and helps you to understand your baby’s particular nonverbal language and respond with love and respectful listening. It empowers you as a parent, for it gives you the means by which you become an expert on your own child.”
Numerous other studies have also shown the many developmental benefits of positive contact as part of baby’s early life. Infant massage is one of the most natural and pleasant methods of providing this early nurturing contact.

INFANT MASSAGE CLASSES
There are several benefits that may come along with massaging your baby. Here are a few of the most common:
• bonding and attachment
• relief of: stress, teething/growing pains, constipation, colic/gas.
• increased weight gain for premature infants
• improved sleep (for parents and babies)
• safe for medically fragile infants
• enhanced motor development
• help for depressed babies and mothers
Individual classes are great for:
• Parents and babies who are easily distracted and could benefit from a closer, more intimate setting.
• Older infants (6+ mos.) tend to be more easily distracted as they are discovering their independence and learning to move.
• Families who may not be able to attend group class times.
• Creating an optimal infant massage space in your own home, if you choose for me to come to you.
Group classes will range from 2 to 8 families.
Groups are great because parents can talk with one another, learn from each other, share stories, tips, tricks, massage progress, etc.
It's a great way to meet other parents and babies.
It can also be fun to have group classes with other friends or family members with infants.
Group classes will be held at a provided location.
"Modern parents want to nurture so skillfully that Mother Nature will gasp in admiration at the marvels their parenting produces from the soft clay of children."
